The Skill Zone is a purpose-built off-ice training room located inside Slough Ice Arena, operated in partnership with Everyone Active. Whether you're a seasoned player looking to sharpen your shooting and stickhandling, or a complete beginner curious about the sport — this is the place for you.

Shooting
Practice your shot, improve accuracy, and build power in a purpose-built shooting space.
Stickhandling
Develop faster hands and better puck control using our synthetic ice tiles and stickhandling obstacles, ideal for players of all skill levels.
Passing
Sharpen your passing accuracy and puck control using our passing rebounder or by training with a teammate or friend.
Open Sessions
Train on your schedule by booking in advance via the Everyone Active app or turning up when space is available.

Book Your Session
Booking is simple — all sessions are managed through the Everyone Active app. Follow the steps below to get started.

Download the Everyone Active App
Available free on iOS and Android — search "Everyone Active" in your app store.

Create or log in to your account
Use your existing membership or create an account to browse sessions.

Find Slough Ice Arena
Search for Slough Ice Arena, then select The Skill Zone from available activities.

Pick your time and book
Choose from available slots, confirm your booking, and you're done. See you on the pad.
Never Played Before?
Have a Go at Hockey
Never laced up skates or picked up a stick? No problem. You don't need any experience to get started.
Book a session in our private off-ice training room and give hockey a try in your own space. You'll have the room to yourself, so you can take things at your own pace and simply get a feel for the game – no experience, no equipment, no problem.
Sticks supplied in partnership with Drip Hockey, with a range of sizes plus left- and right-handed options available. Just turn up and play.
All Ages Welcome
Everyone can attend any session at any time — no separate junior or adult sessions.
Private Training Space
Use our off-ice training room exclusively for your session, giving you the freedom to try hockey in your own way.

We have the latest Drip Hockey composite sticks available in The Skill Zone for you to use in our training room. Get a feel for Drip Hockey sticks and experience their performance for yourself. Offering high performance at a more accessible price point, they're a great way to step up your game without the premium price tag. Love the feel of the stick? You can purchase Drip Hockey sticks directly from the Drip Hockey website and simply select Pick Up at The Skill Zone at checkout.
Work one-on-one with an experienced coach and see rapid improvement in your game. All sessions take place in The Skill Zone and can be booked directly.
Lukas Smital
Slough Jets Head Coach
Slough Jets Head Coach Lukas Smital has an extensive professional playing career across the UK, Europe and North America including the ECHL and AHL. A multiple championship winning coach, Lukas brings decades of elite playing and coaching experience to every session.
Current Slough Jets forward and NIHL 1 South Player of the season, Juha is a former GB U20 international with over 100 points in the NIHL National League and over 80 points for the Slough Jets last season alone. A proud product of the Slough junior programme, he now coaches the U10s and U12s.
